Kim, your points are so great to read! One of the reasons I wanted to try moderation was because I COULD see the point of just one. Before, it was likely going to be a minimum of two if I was out with friends. If you dive into some of the history of alcohol, I love the social element associated with the initial purposes. I also mention "normal drinkers" because it's how some people are defined. We each get to define our version of that and the label we place on ourselves is also our choice. It's more than just hanging with friends, as this is something I frequently continued to do (covid restrictions, of course). It is still something I want to give a try, especially with my developed mindfulness around the substance. :)
